Printed on fine art paper. The poster was used as publicity and sent by mail. There are folds in the paper as a result.  Mathieu worked with Picabia, Jackson Pollock and Simon Hantaï.  In 1976 he became a member of the Academie des Beaux-Arts and  a great retrospective of his work opened at the Grand Palais 1978.
